  • Norco + Diazepam - When to resume nursing

I'm having a vascular procedure done next week and am required to take a 5-325mg Norco and a 10mg Valium at 8 AM prior to the procedure. At what time will I be able to safely resume nursing? Should I pump and dump between taking the pills and that time? My daughter is 4 months old and approximately 14.5 pounds. Thank you so much for any help!

I’d suggest you pump and discard for about 12 hours. The problem is the rather large dose of Valium

observe in for sedation. Quite unlikely.
