  • Doxycycline Hyclate and Breastfeeding

Its Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg 2x a day for 12 weeks safe while breastfeeding a 19 month old? She nurses about 5-6x in total mainly at night, for about 5 minutes each time. She also eats food throughout the day.

    Adirosado,

We do not recommend the safety of doxycycline longer than 3 weeks because of the risk of dental staining and impaired bone growth.
