What antidepressants are safe to use while breastfeeding?

  • #2
    Shannon:

Most all antidepressants are reasonably safe during breastfeeding. If you have never used one, I'd first suggest Sertraline(Zoloft), paroxetine(Paxil), escitalopram(Lexapro), and lastly fluoxetine(Prozac). But most importantly, use the one that works best for you.

Remember, a healthy mom makes a healthy baby.
