    My doctor just suggested I take this for the hacking cough I have. Can you please advise if it's safe to take the 10mg dosage once a day while breastfeeding my 13 month old. He is nursing at least every 2-3 hrs right now due to RSV and teething. I weigh 110 lbs if that has anything to do with dosage....I noticed there was a 5mg pill.

    Yes, it's fine. This is a very safe medication to take, even at 10mg.
