  • Hydrocortisone suppositories and breastfeeding.

Hello. Are anucort (hydrocortisone) rectal suppositories compatible with breastfeeding? My infant is 1 month old. Thank you!

    Soxia1,

Anucort is rated an L3-no data-probably compatible. We do not know how much transfers into breast milk, but we believe it will be minimal. Short term use is probably ok, no adverse effects have been reported.
