    We do not normally recommend Risedronate in breastfeeding mothers but its absorption orally is so poor, that if it were to penetrate milk, it would most likely not be absorbed at all in the infant.

    Due to the severity of this case, I'd suggest mom continue therapy with risedronate.

    Observe infant for growth parameters such as height.
