  • Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar

Hi, I wasn't really sure where I should post this. I am wondering if Braggs organic apple cider vinegar is safe to ingest while pregnant since it's unpasturized? I have been taking shots of it in the morning and at night bc of acne and bc I've heard it is so good for you. Braggs' website says it is safe and that all bacteria is killed due to the acidity. I've read conflicting information about whether it is safe or not, and I just wanted a professional opinion. Thanks!

    Hi, thanks for your post.

I consulted with an OB/GYN colleague on this question. She says it is not a good idea to drink anything unpasteurized while you are pregnant. Some strains of bacteria are resistant to acid.

Please post again or call us at the InfantRisk Center if this has not completely answered your question. (806)352-2519
